Earlier today, one of the greatest authors of our time lost his life to Alzheimer’s aged just 66 years old. Sir Terry Pratchett, OBE, was a giant in the literary world, having published over 70 books, and selling over 70 million books worldwide.

He was highly intelligent, articulate, and immensely funny, and he has left the world a richer place for his writing. He will be missed most by those who knew him well, and the millions of fans around the world who fell in love with his work.

“Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?” Terry Pratchett, Going Postal.
