Free Books

I thought the name might attract a few people!!!!!! And I don’t like to disappoint my friends, so here is a way to get some free books:

I have a Kobo ereader; my parents brought me one as a Christmas present a few years ago and I love it!!!!!!!!!! Kobo have tons of ebooks that you can download for free, and completely legally!!!!! And to make it even better you don’t even have to have a Kobo ereader; you can download a free app for your laptop, tablet, or phone by visiting the Kobo website (Just type Kobo into your search engine to find the Kobo site for your country and language).

And Kobo aren’t the only ones; Kindle does a similar thing, and I’m guessing so do others such as Nook and Barnes and Noble.

I repeat; you don’t have to have an ereader to do this, you can download the app from the Kobo website. The good thing about it is that if you don’t like the book, it doesn’t matter, because you go it for free.

Now, in most cases these are books from new authors trying to build a fan base, so that’s why they’re free. But sometimes you might get lucky and find some promotion by bigger authors. If you find a book by a new author you think is great, let your friends know so that they can enjoy it to and help that new writer fulfil his dreams of being an author. 🙂

Here’s a link to download the Kobo desktop to install on your PC or Mac:

And here’s the link to search through the free books they offer:

You should also check out you local libraries a and charity shops, as they often sell books very cheaply. They may not always be the books you were after, but you could just find a hidden gem of a story, and in the process you’ll be helping your local library or a charity.
