Favourite Things

Ok, so because I want to try and focus on less well known books, it doesn’t leave me much scope to say which of the more mainstream books that I love, or favourite anything else. As that is part of the reason why I created this blog, I have decided to list a few of those things here that I think my fellow Hogwarts students might enjoy.

I’ll update this list as and when I find new things I like, and put some age ranges with them again (just in case). So, here goes:

Harry Potter

Favourite Book: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Favourite Film: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Favourite Character: Luna Lovegood (Dobby is a very close second)

Favourite House: Ravenclaw (obviously)

Favourite Subject: Care of Magical Creatures

Favourite Spell: Curse of Bogies

Favourite Teacher: Professor Flitwick

Favourite Place: Hogwarts (but I also love Diagon Alley)

I call my owl Naomi, or Nim for short, after a friend who died. I think she would have loved Pottermore a lot, so it’s my way of bringing her to Hogwarts. I also have a pet thestral called Neville, and a pet cat called Dobby.

Miranda Cosgrove

Bach (Classical Music)

Slade (an old band your parents have probably heard of, at least in the UK)

Mumford and Sons

I also like piano and violin

Pizza (pepperoni, with extra cheese, is my favourite)

Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Nan Bread

Steak with melted Blue Cheese

Steak and Ale Pie

Chips and Gravy (chips as in big fat French fries, not packets of ‘potato chips’ which are called crisps in the UK)

My favourite colour is blue, so that makes it even better being a Ravenclaw.

I also like animals, especially dogs, tortoises, andΒ owls.Β I have a Jack Russell called Rodders, and a Horesfield Tortoise called Izzy.
