Riddle Me This Wednesday Two

So, the answers to last weeks riddles are:

1)      A man went into a party and drank some of the punch. He then left early. Everyone at the party who drunk the punch subsequently died of poisoning. Why did the man not die?

Ice. The poison was in the ice, which wasn’t released until the ice melted, so as he drank the punch while the ice was still frozen he wasn’t affected by it.

2)      What can be opened but can’t be closed?

An egg.

1 House Point  if you answered one riddle correctly, and 5 if you answered both correctly.

Your riddles for this week are:

1) What seven letter word contains thousands of letters?

2) You will always find me in the past, and I can be created in the present, but the future can never taint me. What am I?

Good luck!
