Micheline is a tetrachromat, someone who can see the auros of undead beings like vampires. She has inherited this gift from being one of the last descendents of the Van Heilsings, and has trained to hunt her monsters her whole life. But she has brought monster hunting into the 21st centuary, and uses a camera, made by one of her tech savy crew, to capture the souls of ghosts in order to exorcise them.

But when an excorcism goes wrong, her life and that of her friends is in grave danger, and they befall a curse which will kill them in 7 days if they don’t figure out a way to break it, and prove to her father, who has been sent to track them down as renegades, that she and her friends are on the right side.

I really enjoyed the adventure of this story, and the way it mixes modern culture with old mythology.
