This book is the first book in a series called Vampire Kisses.
Raven is a Goth, and an outcast. She wears weird clothes, and loves vampires, so when a strange family move into the old haunted house at the top of the hill, she just can’t help but get drawn to the rumours that they are vampires.
But they can’t really be vampires can they? Perhaps they are just outcasts like here, shunned for being different, but Raven has to know for sure, especially as the son, Alexander, is just too good looking not to get to know better.
Turning detective, she discovers why the rumours of vampire’s have circulated. No one in Alexandra’s family are ever seen during daylight hours, and they all seem to have an allergy to garlic, and then there’s the fact that they are skin is deathly white. The more she discovers, the more she is convinced that the boy she is falling in love with is a vampire, but can she convince him to trust her with such a big secret?
