Psychopomp by Angela Roquet (*16 years and over) SPOILER ALERT! DON’T READ UNTIL YOU’VE READ THE OTHER BOOKS IN THE SERIES!

Title: Psychopomp.

Author: Angela Roquet.

Year of Publication: 2014 (UK).

Publisher: CreateSpace (UK).

Format: Available in paperback, and as an ebook.

Cost for Paperback (RRP): £9.26 (UK).

Age Range: I suggest from about 16 up, if you’re younger than this I suggest asking your parents first.

This book is the fourth book in a series called Lana Harvey, Reapers Inc.

With the Afterlife on the verge of all out war, Lana again finds herself in the middle of all the trouble wishing she could just go back to her old life with her devilish boyfriend Malik. But the Afterlife Council and the terrorists have different plans for her.

It’s still not clear if they know she’s already found the replacement soul needed to keep the Afterlife safe from war, or if they just want to kill her because she’s such a pain in the ass for them. Either way, it’s not only her life at risk if she gets it wrong.

But when Lana is betrayed, and she is seen as a traitor, Lana has no idea what is going to happen next. And neither do we. The more this story plays out, the more questions we have about what is truly happening and how Lana will be able to stop war breaking out.

I love this story, and I’m really looking forward to reading the next book to find out if the Afterlife can be saved. If any of you were wondering, the word Psychopomp is the name given to Gods or Deities that carry souls to the afterlife.

It looks like there will be another book, but I have no idea what it will be called or when it will be released.
