This book is an accompanying book in a series called A Song of Ice and Fire.
This is a companion like very few you’ll have read because it is written as though it’s come straight out of the world it belongs to. By that I mean it is like the Quiditch Through the Ages, which is written as though it’s a real Hogwarts textbook. This companion is written as though it’s a real history of the Severn Kingdoms in A Song of Ice and Fire (A Game of Thrones).
This is great for all the geeks and nerds like me who want to know more about the world in which this epic story takes place, and also to people who are struggling to remember who is who, and who’s side everyone is on, etc.
It’s also full of some great illustrations, and it’s one of those books that really does take you to a different world.
